Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,587 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRN-associated genes across cancer lineages are NEFH, SYP, and CBLN1. Each is linked with PTPRN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRN-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRN results are reported.
