Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,369 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRM-associated genes across cancer lineages are ITGA10, VWF, and CENPA. Each is linked with PTPRM in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRM-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRM results are reported.
