Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRM mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 93 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRM-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, Cyclin-B1, and TFRC. Each is linked with PTPRM in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRM-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRM results are reported.
