Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPRK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTPRK data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PTPRK Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPRK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where PTPRK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
