Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRG mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,379 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRG-associated genes across cancer lineages are NDUFA8, EIF2B2, and EIF2S1. Each is linked with PTPRG in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRG-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRG results are reported.
