Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRE mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 52 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRE-associated genes across cancer lineages are Akt, ATM, and Bad_pS112. Each is linked with PTPRE in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRE-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRE results are reported.
