Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPRCAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTPRCAP data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PTPRCAP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPRCAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where PTPRCAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
