Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPRC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTPRC data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PTPRC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPRC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
ESCA, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PTPRC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
