Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,407 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRA-associated genes across cancer lineages are CDS2, CENPB, and PCED1A. Each is linked with PTPRA in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRA-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRA results are reported.
