Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPN7 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,436 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPN7-associated genes across cancer lineages are CYTH4, GRAP2, and NCF4. Each is linked with PTPN7 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPN7-to-partner and partner-to-PTPN7 results are reported.
