Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPN6 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 24 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PTPN6-associated genes across cancer lineages are MSH2, EGFR_pY1068, and A-Raf_pS299. Each is linked with PTPN6 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPN6-to-partner and partner-to-PTPN6 results are reported.
