Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPN2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,030 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPN2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FPR2, SEH1L, and KIF18A. Each is linked with PTPN2 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPN2-to-partner and partner-to-PTPN2 results are reported.
