Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPN13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTPN13 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PTPN13 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPN13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where PTPN13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
