Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTP4A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTP4A3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher PTP4A3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTP4A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and GBM show a favorable association.

LSCC, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where PTP4A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
