Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTP4A1P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTP4A1P1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher PTP4A1P1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTP4A1P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and ESCA show a favorable association.
KICH, LUSC, and STAD are the cancer types where PTP4A1P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
