Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTP4A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTP4A1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher PTP4A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTP4A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where PTP4A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
