Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTOV1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTOV1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PTOV1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTOV1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, STAD, and SARC are the cancer types where PTOV1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
