Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTMS mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 5 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTMS-associated genes across cancer lineages are HSP70, p62 Lck ligand, and STAT3_pY705. Each is linked with PTMS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTMS-to-partner and partner-to-PTMS results are reported.
