Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTK2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTK2B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PTK2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTK2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.
BRCA, THCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where PTK2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
