Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTK2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTK2B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PTK2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTK2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

COAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PTK2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
