Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTGS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTGS2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PTGS2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTGS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PTGS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
