Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTGR1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTGR1 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PTGR1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTGR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where PTGR1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
