Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTGIS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTGIS data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PTGIS Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTGIS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

BLCA, ESCA, and STAD are the cancer types where PTGIS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
