Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTGIS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,445 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTGIS-associated genes across cancer lineages are FGF7, MEDAG, and SFRP4. Each is linked with PTGIS in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTGIS-to-partner and partner-to-PTGIS results are reported.
