Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTER protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,965 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTER-associated genes across cancer lineages are C1QL3, CBX7, and CENPO. Each is linked with PTER in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTER-to-partner and partner-to-PTER results are reported.
