Across TCGA cell cohorts, PTER RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,598 significant associations in total. CNS shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTER-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Taurine metabolic process, Alkanesulfonate metabolic process, and Regulation of tRNA catabolic process. Each is linked with PTER in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTER-to-partner and partner-to-PTER results are reported.
