Across TCGA cell cohorts, PTCH2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,587 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTCH2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Subtelomeric heterochromatin formation, Positive regulation of monoatomic ion transport, and Negative regulation of gene expression, epigenetic. Each is linked with PTCH2 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTCH2-to-partner and partner-to-PTCH2 results are reported.
