Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTCH1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 67 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTCH1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PDCD4, 4E-BP1, and Cyclin-B1. Each is linked with PTCH1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTCH1-to-partner and partner-to-PTCH1 results are reported.
