Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTCD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTCD1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PTCD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTCD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

CESC, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where PTCD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
