Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTBP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTBP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PTBP2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where PTBP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
