Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMG1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMG1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PSMG1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, HNSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where PSMG1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
