Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMF1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PSMF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, SARC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PSMF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
