Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMD12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMD12 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PSMD12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMD12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where PSMD12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
