Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMC6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMC6 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PSMC6 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMC6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where PSMC6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
