Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMB7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMB7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher PSMB7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMB7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, CESC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PSMB7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
