Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMB2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PSMB2 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher PSMB2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and READ show a favorable association.
LIHC, ACC, and MESO are the cancer types where PSMB2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
