Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSG9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PSG9 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher PSG9 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSG9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and KICH show a favorable association.
MESO, READ, and ESCA are the cancer types where PSG9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
