Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSG9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSG9 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PSG9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSG9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
LUSC, SCLC, and LAML are the cancer types where PSG9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
