Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSG8-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PSG8-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PSG8-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSG8-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and DLBC are the cancer types where PSG8-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
