Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSEN2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSEN2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher PSEN2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSEN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LSCC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PSEN2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
