Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSEN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSEN1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PSEN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSEN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
BRCA, DLBC, and STAD are the cancer types where PSEN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
