Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PSD Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where PSD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
