Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRXL2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRXL2B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PRXL2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRXL2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PRXL2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
