Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRTN3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRTN3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher PRTN3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRTN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC and ESCA are the cancer types where PRTN3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
