Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRSS53 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRSS53 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher PRSS53 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRSS53 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SARC and ESCA are the cancer types where PRSS53 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
