Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRSS16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PRSS16 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher PRSS16 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRSS16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and SKCM show a favorable association.

OV, SKCM, and READ are the cancer types where PRSS16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
