Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRRT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRRT2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PRRT2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRRT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where PRRT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
