Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRRG2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRRG2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PRRG2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRRG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where PRRG2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
