Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRR5L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRR5L data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PRR5L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRR5L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
CESC, LUAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where PRR5L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
