Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRPS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRPS1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PRPS1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRPS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC, SKCM, and READ are the cancer types where PRPS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
